7-11 Employee Yanks Shotgun Right Out Of The Hands Of a Would-Be Robber

Fox - A Maryland convenience store clerk is being hailed a hero after he was caught on camera disarming a would-be robber who pointed a shotgun at his face. In the footage, the clerk at a 7-Eleven in Frederick never flinches as he grabs the barrel of the gun and wrestles it out of the suspect’s hand.

“[The man] pointed it at my employee and started screaming at my employee, screaming in his face, and [my employee] grabbed [the gun] and took it out of the guy’s hands,” store owner Abdul Ayub told the paper.  “And the guy ran out of the store, so now the police have the gun and he didn’t get anything.”

Deputies told the paper that they were able to determine that the shotgun wasn’t loaded.

I’m a huuuuuge “if people want to rob your store, let them rob your store” guy. We too often see cases of Walmart employees getting shot and killed because they tried to stop someone from stealing a pack of undershirts. It’s just not worth it. You don’t owe Walmart a dick lick of loyalty, they are paying you 8 dollars an hour, maybe let the guy run off, Walmart will be a-okay. So to see this 7-11 clerk fight a guy who is holding a shotgun to his head, gollyyyyyyy. I don’t know how to make heads or tails of it. There’s a very small chance he knew the gun wasn’t loaded, so when it comes down to it, Abdul Ayub was willing to die for his store. He was willing to take a bullet for his 7-11 store in Frederick rather than let a guy run off with $200 or so. I don’t understand it, and I don’t even respect it. Have a little bit more respect for your life, bro! There ain’t no way, no how defending the 711 wall is worth it. Won’t corporate pay you back anyway? Insurance? Both?

My best guess is Abdul was getting pretty fucking sick of Mrs. Ayub’s shit and thought this would be his easy way out. Just bad luck it wasn’t loaded, and now he needs to listen to more of Mrs. Ayub’s shit about why he risked getting shot. Bitch I work 20 hour days! Fuckin Mrs. Ayub.
